BHGE is the first company to bring digital solutions to the fullstream of oil and gas customer needs, totaling combined revenues of $23 billion.
It’s the first time a GE merger has led to a total rebrand that incorporates both company logos.

The new visual identity (designed by Interbrand, parent company of brandchannel) leverages a bold line that cuts through the name of the company. The visual identity symbolizes BHGE’s fullstream capabilities and aspirations for industrial innovation, “reaching from the depths of the sea to the Cloud.”
Throughout its 125-year history, GE has joint-ventured cross-industry as in GE Hitachi and GE Al-Shaheen, but previously, always preserved its iconic monogram. Now a General Electric company, BHGE serves the oil and gas industry in over 90 countries.
The BHGE rebrand signals a new entity that will offer “pioneering advantages to its clients and shareholders.”
BHGE will use cloud-based software and advanced manufacturing solutions to realize nearly 5% productivity improvements across the entire industry, resulting in savings of $1.2 billion over three years.
The new company represents a vision of optimism and opportunity in the merger of integrated equipment, services and a digital portfolio in oil and gas.
Baker Hughes has been in business for 110 years and has a solid reputation in the oil and gas industry and by combining that acumen in oilfield products and services with GE’s distinct manufacturing and technology capabilities, BHGE will deliver connected solutions to more than 120 markets.
As the newly rebranded company states, “We leverage minds and machines to enhance customer productivity, safety and environmental stewardship, while minimizing costs and risks at every step of the energy value chain. We infuse over a century of experience with the spirit of a startup – inventing smarter ways to bring energy to the world.”
