The digital shower by Moen now provides enhanced Amazon Alexa capabilities with Apple Homekit and Google Assistant compatibility.
North American faucet brand, Moen, has expanded the capabilities of its U by Moen portfolio to provide consumers an even more innovative way to interact with water. The marque is now offering enhanced functionality with Amazon Alex and compatibility with Apple HomeKit and Google Assistant.
Featuring added customisation with a new Matte Black controller finish, its wireless cloud-based digital shower boasts mobile connectivity and personalisation. Elevating the shower experience for users at home, the update delivers three options: voice activation, smartphone app, and in-shower controller.
The system has a digital valve to enable precise thermostatic temperature control, allowing users to connect up to four devices (showerheads, hand showers, body sprays). The digital shower controller features a five-inch non-touch LCD for shower status feedback via on-screen messaging and notifications.
“With the increasing popularity of digital voice assistants, we want to ensure consumers have several options available regardless of the smart home ecosystem they choose, as well as streamline commands to make controlling the shower as simple as possible,” said Michael Poloha, Moen Group Manager, IoT.
